Through the Electronic Beats program, Deutsche Telekom has been nurturing forward-thinking music, club culture and digital arts for close to 25 years. The podcast The Week provides weekly updates on what’s happening in these worlds – through commentary and in-depth conversations.

Since its inception in the late 90s, Telekom Electronic Beats has built a reputation as a premier provider of editorial content in the music space: from print and DVD magazines in the early days to educational content on YouTube and TikTok today. The Week – developed, written and produced by our podcast department, ACB Stories – is the latest offering from Electronic Beats. Every week, rotating hosts Kikelomo, 0tt0 Kent and Juba dissect what everyone is talking about in electronic music and the culture surrounding it.

In collaboration with our friends at OZMOZE, The Week is built as a multi-channel media brand. Whether you like to get your weekly lowdown on your earbuds or on your phone screen – we got you covered.

Topics range from new releases, to big headlines we didn’t have on our bingo cards, to the pop cultural trends shaping our feeds and the deeper discourse underlying them. Hosts provide context and commentary, oftentimes inviting expert guests to the studio with them.

The list of people who have featured on the show includes some of today’s defining DJs, music makers, cultural journalists and content creators – from Billie Eilish to Honey Dijon and DJ Gigola to TikTok royalty Die Huepsche and Resident Advisor’s editor-in-chief Gabriel Szatan.

Campaign storylines and talent from the wider Deutsche Telekom universe are regularly included in the show, tying in with the brand’s overall mission of connecting people and driving culture forward through technology.
